Welcome to our blog about songs and movies and videos: We want to recommend some excellent words to you...
We recommend these songs and videos.
We are students and teachers at a high school in Florida.
We hope you will learn about our culture and our ideas.
We are posting these items to share them with each other and with students who want to improve their English.
Here is an example:
Now I can't think how life was like before I had you by my side.
Can't say how I lived without you, knowing what it's like to have you.
This is a song written for my mobile phone. It is by Annie Little and a guy named Marcus. They wrote songs about the Kindle.
Here is a song that Alex Tirado commented about:
"Then came this person with chaos in her wake."
I interpret this section a saying that when this person came and involved herself in his life, it changed him causing him to feel pain. Chaos came into his life as soon as she arrived.
Alex was responding to a lyric in the following song from Walt Disney's Mary Poppins.
